Concept meets the needs of the sales team from Dabrav – Surf-ACE importers in Belgium
As their business grows, Concept continues to support Dabrav’s needs - no more so than during their recent visit to Concept’s training facility in Manchester.
On her very first week with the company, Concept’s sales and technical team introduced new recruit Najat Oiziz to the range of professional polishing, car cleaning and detailing products offered by Concept Chemicals. In the same week Kika Goossens and Dave Devos, two experienced sales people refreshed their product knowledge, learnt about the new technologies and products offered in the range and polished their product presentations skills.
Dave has many years experience in the refinish industry and we understand found his trip extremely valuable as he is now fully up to date with the ever changing and challenging polishing and paint rectification market. Dave also commented that after 20 years in the industry this was the first product training he had received for valeting products, arguably one of the most important aspects of any repair.
Kika, who already dedicates much of her efforts to promoting the range, plans to tackle the competitors head on with the New Delta Family when selling detergents.
Concept's New French Connection
New distributors for Southern France, SOS Grêle are the latest visitors to the Concept training centre, in what is turning out to be a busy year - despite the economic difficulties we all face. Directors Fabrice and Delphine Féréol already operate a successful, national network of smart repairers from their base in Bordeaux, and look forward to expanding their business and distributing the Concept cleaning and car detailing products, the Surf-ACE polishing system and Zirconite protection program.
Mr. & Mrs. Fereol and their partner for Marseille and the surrounding area, Raphaël Ferraud, received training on all three brands offered by Concept and see particular opportunities for the Zirconite protection program, especially the new Leather Shield and Care Kit.
New calendars for 2009
Concept Importers and Distributors now have available the latest quintessentially British Isles Wall and Desk Calendars for distribution, making a bright and highly attractive connection with special places around these islands.
Concept at Automechanika 2008
Automechanika 2008 has proven to be the perfect showcase for Concept to present its innovative chemistry and latest product developments to the world automotive aftermarket.
Focus points on Concepts stand included:
Concept Nano Technology System which pushes the performance boundaries for vehicle cleaning and detailing – the range of products work in harmony, enhancing operator productivity and creating higher levels of vehicle finish.
New Surf-ACE Polish Technologies launched earlier this year at Concepts 2008 Innovation Conference were demonstrated to both worldwide automotive visitors and local German bodyshop end users. This element of interactive presentation has proved to be an extremely effective tool in communicating the advantages of the new polishes when taking into account the latest paint technologies being used by the automotive world.
The latest additions to the Zirconite Protection System were showcased to an enthusiastic audience emphasizing the enhanced business and profit opportunities available to importers of this brand.
Overall Concept was delighted with the quantity and quality of business contacts made at the show, both with existing Importers and potential new partners.
Concept Training Centre has worldwide reach
Concept’s newly opened training centre has been busy since the start of the new year, having already had visitors from around the world. In January Concept hosted training and product development seminars with customers from Kuwait, Hungary, Switzerland and Poland.
The bespoke training centre has facilitated a higher quality of product demonstration and hands on training and allows us to offer a more intensive and structured program to ensure that customers from abroad and the UK can get maximum value for their time at Concept.
Training School now in full swing
After months of development and building, the technological tour-de-force that is the Concept Chemicals Training School is now operational and taking on its first batch of visitors. The school was developed to enable hands on training of Importers, Distributors and key End Users. The school has the capability to cover all three Brands to provide in-depth training in the correct use and best application methods of Detergents, Polishing/Compounding and Detailing systems.
The schools facilities include training rooms, wet and dry bays of the highest standard, purpose built changing facilities and all the equipment that is needed for users to learn how to get the very best from Concept products.
Also used for new product testing the school doubles as a practical laboratory facility enabling new products to be tested and evaluated under controlled conditions, ensuring end users always get the very best for their needs.
Paris exhibition success
The recent EquipAuto show in Paris gave Concept the opportunity to launch several new and re-formulated products, introducing them to the world with technical display. 'Nano' products were part of the big buzz this year; this new generation technology makes life easier for every end user and increases certain products performance dramatically.
Breaking all earlier records, Concepts stand was visited both by existing customers cementing relationships and new attendees interested in the valuable business opportunity presented by an innovative and profitable range of products for the appearance conditioning industry.
